The way (to blame) is only against those who ask permission of you though they are rich; they have chosen to be with those who remained behind, and Allah has set a seal upon their hearts so they do not know.
उनकी ऑंखों से ऑंसू जारी थे (इल्ज़ाम की) सबील तो सिर्फ उन्हीं लोगों पर है जिन्होंने बावजूद मालदार होने के तुमसे (जिहाद में) न जाने की इजाज़त चाही और उनके पीछे रह जाने वाले (औरतों, बच्चों) के साथ रहना पसन्द आया और ख़ुदा ने उनके दिलों पर (गोया) मोहर कर दी है तो ये लोग कुछ नहीं जानते

इल्ज़ाम तो बस उनपर है जो धनवान होते हुए तुमसे छुट्टी माँगते है। वे इसपर राज़ी हुए कि पीछे डाले गए लोगों के साथ रह जाएँ। अल्लाह ने तो उनके दिलों पर मुहर लगा दी है, इसलिए वे जानते नहीं

The wealth they spend in this worldly life is like a freezing wind that smites the harvest of a people who have wronged themselves and destroys it. Allah has not wronged them, but they wronged themselves.
दुनिया की चन्द रोज़ा ज़िन्दगी में ये लोग जो कुछ (ख़िलाफ़ शरा) ख़र्च करते हैं उसकी मिसाल अन्धड़ की मिसाल है जिसमें बहुत पाला हो और वह उन लोगों के खेत पर जा पड़े जिन्होंने (कुफ़्र की वजह से) अपनी जानों पर सितम ढाया हो और फिर पाला उसे मार के (नास कर दे) और ख़ुदा ने उनपर जुल्म कुछ नहीं किया बल्कि उन्होंने आप अपने ऊपर जुल्म किया

इसमें शक़ नहीं कि ज़मीन पर चलने वाले तमाम हैवानात से बदतर ख़ुदा के नज़दीक वह बहरे गूँगे (कुफ्फार) हैं जो कुछ नहीं समझते

अल्लाह की स्पष्ट में तो निकृष्ट पशु वे बहरे - गूँगे लोग है, जो बुद्धि से काम नहीं लेते
Their example is like one who kindled a fire, and when it lit all around him, Allah took away their light and left them in darkness. They could not see.
उनकी मिसाल ऐसी हैं जैसे किसी व्यक्ति ने आग जलाई, फिर जब उसने उसके वातावरण को प्रकाशित कर दिया, तो अल्लाह ने उसका प्रकाश ही छीन लिया और उन्हें अँधेरों में छोड़ दिया जिससे उन्हें कुछ सुझाई नहीं दे रहा हैं
Their reward, near their Lord, is the Gardens of Eden, with streams running in them, to remain in them forever. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. That is for those who fear their Lord.
उनका बदला उनके अपने रब के पास सदाबहार बाग़ है, जिनके नीचे नहरें बह रही होंगी। उनमें वे सदैव रहेंगे। अल्लाह उनसे राज़ी हुआ और वे उससे राज़ी हुए। यह कुछ उसके लिए है, जो अपने रब से डरा
Theirs are good tidings in the life of the world and in the Hereafter - There is no changing the Words of Allah - that is the Supreme Triumph.
उनके लिए सांसारिक जीवन में भी शुभ-सूचना है और आख़िरत में भी - अल्लाह के शब्द बदलते नहीं-यही बड़ी सफलता है
