And beware of a punishment, which shall not visit the wrongdoers among you exclusively, and know that Allah is severe in retribution.
बचो उस फ़ितने से जो अपनी लपेट में विशेष रूप से केवल अत्याचारियों को ही नहीं लेगा, जान लो अल्लाह कठोर दंड देनेवाला है
And brought together their hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah brought them together. Indeed, He is Exalted in Might and Wise.
और उसी ने उन मुसलमानों के दिलों में बाहम ऐसी उलफ़त पैदा कर दी कि अगर तुम जो कुछ ज़मीन में है सब का सब खर्च कर डालते तो भी उनके दिलो में ऐसी उलफ़त पैदा न कर सकते मगर ख़ुदा ही था जिसने बाहम उलफत पैदा की बेशक वह ज़बरदस्त हिक़मत वाला है
And brought together their hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah brought them together. Indeed, He is Exalted in Might and Wise.
और उनके दिल आपस में एक-दूसरे से जोड़ दिए। यदि तुम धरती में जो कुछ है, सब खर्च कर डालते तो भी उनके दिलों को परस्पर जोड़ न सकते, किन्तु अल्लाह ने उन्हें परस्पर जोड़ दिया। निश्चय ही वह अत्यन्त प्रभुत्वशाली, तत्वदर्शी है
And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah 'dead.' Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not.
और जो लोग ख़ुदा की राह में मारे गए उन्हें कभी मुर्दा न कहना बल्कि वह लोग ज़िन्दा हैं मगर तुम उनकी ज़िन्दगी की हक़ीकत का कुछ भी शऊर नहीं रखते

और जो लोग अल्लाह के मार्ग में मारे जाएँ उन्हें मुर्दा न कहो, बल्कि वे जीवित है, परन्तु तुम्हें एहसास नहीं होता

And call not with Allah any other god; there is no god but He, every thing is perishable but He; His is the judgment, and to Him you shall be brought back.
और ख़ुदा के सिवा किसी और माबूद की परसतिश न करना उसके सिवा कोई क़ाबिले परसतिश नहीं उसकी ज़ात के सिवा हर चीज़ फना होने वाली है उसकी हुकूमत है और तुम लोग उसकी तरफ़ (मरने के बाद) लौटाये जाओगे

और अल्लाह के साथ किसी और इष्ट - पूज्य को न पुकारना। उसके सिवा कोई इष्ट - पूज्य नहीं। हर चीज़ नाशवान है सिवास उसके स्वरूप के। फ़ैसला और आदेश का अधिकार उसी को प्राप्त है और उसी की ओर तुम सबको लौटकर जाना है
And contend thou not for those who defraud their souls verily Allah loveth not one who is a defrauder, sinner.
और (ऐ रसूल) तुम (उन बदमाशों) की तरफ़ होकर (लोगों से) न लड़ो जो अपने ही (लोगों) से दग़ाबाज़ी करते हैं बेशक ख़ुदा ऐसे शख्स को दोस्त नहीं रखता जो दग़ाबाज़ गुनाहगार हो

और तुम उन लोगों की ओर से न झगड़ो जो स्वयं अपनों के साथ विश्वासघात करते है। अल्लाह को ऐसा व्यक्ति प्रिय नहीं है जो विश्वासघाती, हक़ मारनेवाला हो
And cry not unto any other god along with Allah . There is no Allah save Him. Everything will perish save His countenance. His is the command, and unto Him ye will be brought back.
और ख़ुदा के सिवा किसी और माबूद की परसतिश न करना उसके सिवा कोई क़ाबिले परसतिश नहीं उसकी ज़ात के सिवा हर चीज़ फना होने वाली है उसकी हुकूमत है और तुम लोग उसकी तरफ़ (मरने के बाद) लौटाये जाओगे
