Have they not travelled through the earth, and seen what was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed them completely and a similar (fate awaits) the disbelievers.
क्या वे धरती में चले - फिरे नहीं कि देखते कि उन लोगों का कैसा परिणाम हुआ जो उनसे पहले गुज़र चुके है? अल्लाह ने उन्हें तहस-नहस कर दिया और इनकार करनेवालों के लिए ऐसे ही मामले होने है
Have they not travelled through the land so that they may observe how was the fate of those who were before them? Allah destroyed them, and a similar [ fate ] awaits these faithless.
तो क्या ये लोग रूए ज़मीन पर चले फिरे नहीं तो देखते जो लोग उनसे पहले थे उनका अन्जाम क्या (ख़राब) हुआ कि ख़ुदा ने उन पर तबाही डाल दी और इसी तरह (उन) काफिरों को भी (सज़ा मिलेगी)

क्या वे धरती में चले - फिरे नहीं कि देखते कि उन लोगों का कैसा परिणाम हुआ जो उनसे पहले गुज़र चुके है? अल्लाह ने उन्हें तहस-नहस कर दिया और इनकार करनेवालों के लिए ऐसे ही मामले होने है
Have you not considered those (Jews) who are given a portion of the Book? They are invited to the Book of Allah that it might decide between them, then a part of them turn back and they withdraw.
(ऐ रसूल) क्या तुमने (उलमाए यहूद) के हाल पर नज़र नहीं की जिनको किताब (तौरेत) का एक हिस्सा दिया गया था (अब) उनको किताबे ख़ुदा की तरफ़ बुलाया जाता है ताकि वही (किताब) उनके झगड़ें का फैसला कर दे इस पर भी उनमें का एक गिरोह मुंह फेर लेता है और यही लोग रूगरदानी (मुँह फेरने) करने वाले हैं

क्या तुमने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जिन्हें ईश-ग्रंथ का एक हिस्सा प्रदान हुआ। उन्हें अल्लाह की किताब की ओर बुलाया जाता है कि वह उनके बीच निर्णय करे, फिर भी उनका एक गिरोह (उसकी) उपेक्षा करते हुए मुँह फेर लेता है?

Have you not considered those who attribute purity to themselves? Nay, Allah purifies whom He pleases; and they shall not be wronged the husk of a date stone.
(ऐ रसूल) क्या तुमने उन लोगों के हाल पर नज़र नहीं की जो आप बड़े मुक़द्दस बनते हैं (मगर उससे क्या होता है) बल्कि ख़ुदा जिसे चाहता है मुक़द्दस बनाता है और ज़ुल्म तो किसी पर धागे के बराबर हो ही गा नहीं

क्या तुमने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जो अपने को पूर्ण एवं शिष्ट होने का दावा करते हैं? (कोई यूँ ही शिष्ट नहीं हुआ करता) बल्कि अल्लाह ही जिसे चाहता है, पूर्णता एवं शिष्टता प्रदान करता है। और उनके साथ तनिक भी अत्याचार नहीं किया जाता
Have you not considered those who make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear to untruth while they know [ they are lying ].
क्या तुमने उन लोगों की हालत पर ग़ौर नहीं किया जो उन लोगों से दोस्ती करते हैं जिन पर ख़ुदा ने ग़ज़ब ढाया है तो अब वह न तुम मे हैं और न उनमें ये लोग जानबूझ कर झूठी बातो पर क़समें खाते हैं और वह जानते हैं
Have you not considered those who make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear to untruth while they know [ they are lying ].
क्या तुमने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जिन्होंने ऐसे लोगों को मित्र बनाया जिनपर अल्लाह का प्रकोप हुआ है? वे न तुममें से है और न उनमें से। और वे जानते-बूझते झूठी बात पर क़सम खाते है
Have you not noticed those who have been given a portion of the Book? Whenever their learned men are summoned to the Book of Allah to judge the differences between them, a party of them turns away in aversion.
(ऐ रसूल) क्या तुमने (उलमाए यहूद) के हाल पर नज़र नहीं की जिनको किताब (तौरेत) का एक हिस्सा दिया गया था (अब) उनको किताबे ख़ुदा की तरफ़ बुलाया जाता है ताकि वही (किताब) उनके झगड़ें का फैसला कर दे इस पर भी उनमें का एक गिरोह मुंह फेर लेता है और यही लोग रूगरदानी (मुँह फेरने) करने वाले हैं
