Therefore, serve Allah alone and be among those who give thanks.
बल्कि तुम ख़ुदा ही कि इबादत करो और शुक्र गुज़ारों में हो
Thereupon Allah seized him for the chastisement of the World to Come as well as of the present.
तो ख़ुदा ने उसे दुनिया और आख़ेरत (दोनों) के अज़ाब में गिरफ्तार किया
Therewith Allah guideth those who follow His goodwill unto the ways of safety, and bringeth them forth out of darkness into the light by His leave, and guideth them onto the right path.
जिसके द्वारा अल्लाह उस व्यक्ति को जो उसकी प्रसन्नता का अनुगामी है, सलामती की राहें दिखा रहा है और अपनी अनुज्ञा से ऐसे लोगों को अँधेरों से निकालकर उजाले की ओर ला रहा है और उन्हें सीधे मार्ग पर चला रहा है
These Messengers were sent as bearers of glad tidings and as warners so that after sending the Messengers people may have no plea against Allah . Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
और हमने नेक लोगों को बेहिश्त की ख़ुशख़बरी देने वाले और बुरे लोगों को अज़ाब से डराने वाले पैग़म्बर (भेजे) ताकि पैग़म्बरों के आने के बाद लोगों की ख़ुदा पर कोई हुज्जत बाक़ी न रह जाए और ख़ुदा तो बड़ा ज़बरदस्त हकीम है (ये कुफ्फ़ार नहीं मानते न मानें)

रसूल शुभ समाचार देनेवाले और सचेत करनेवाले बनाकर भेजे गए है, ताकि रसूलों के पश्चात लोगों के पास अल्लाह के मुक़ाबले में (अपने निर्दोष होने का) कोई तर्क न रहे। अल्लाह अत्यन्त प्रभुत्वशाली, तत्वदर्शी है

These are Allah 's bounds, and whoever obeys Allah and His Apostle, He shall admit him to gardens with streams running in them, to remain in them [ forever ]. That is the great success.
यह ख़ुदा की (मुक़र्रर की हुई) हदें हैं और ख़ुदा और रसूल की इताअत करे उसको ख़ुदा आख़ेरत में ऐसे (हर भरे) बाग़ों में पहुंचा देगा जिसके नीचे नहरें जारी होंगी और वह उनमें हमेशा (चैन से) रहेंगे और यही तो बड़ी कामयाबी है
These are nothing but names that you and your forefathers have invented, for which Allah has sent down no authority. They are merely following their conjectures and their carnal desires although guidance has come to them from their Lord.
वे तो बस कुछ नाम है जो तुमने और तुम्हारे बाप-दादा ने रख लिए है। अल्लाह ने उनके लिए कोई सनद नहीं उतारी। वे तो केवल अटकल के पीछे चले रहे है और उनके पीछे जो उनके मन की इच्छा होती है। हालाँकि उनके पास उनके रब की ओर से मार्गदर्शन आ चुका है

ये तो बस सिर्फ नाम ही नाम है जो तुमने और तुम्हारे बाप दादाओं ने गढ़ लिए हैं, ख़ुदा ने तो इसकी कोई सनद नाज़िल नहीं की ये लोग तो बस अटकल और अपनी नफ़सानी ख्वाहिश के पीछे चल रहे हैं हालॉकि उनके पास उनके परवरदिगार की तरफ से हिदायत भी आ चुकी है
These are the limits [ set by ] Allah , and whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger will be admitted by Him to gardens [ in Paradise ] under which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein; and that is the great attainment.
यह ख़ुदा की (मुक़र्रर की हुई) हदें हैं और ख़ुदा और रसूल की इताअत करे उसको ख़ुदा आख़ेरत में ऐसे (हर भरे) बाग़ों में पहुंचा देगा जिसके नीचे नहरें जारी होंगी और वह उनमें हमेशा (चैन से) रहेंगे और यही तो बड़ी कामयाबी है
These are the ones whose hearts, ears, and eyes Allah has sealed; and they are the neglectful.
वही लोग है जिनके दिलों और जिनके कानों और जिनकी आँखों पर अल्लाह ने मुहर लगा दी है; और वही है जो ग़फ़लत में पड़े हुए है
