And do not say – the lie which your tongues speak – 'This is lawful, and this is forbidden' in order to fabricate a lie against Allah ; indeed those who fabricate lies against Allah will never prosper.
और अपनी ज़बानों के बयान किए हुए झूठ के आधार पर यह न कहा करो, ' यह हलाल है और यह हराम है, ' ताकि इस तरह अल्लाह पर झूठ आरोपित करो। जो लोग अल्लाह से सम्बद्ध करके झूठ घड़ते है, वे कदापि सफल होनेवाले नहीं
And do not take a small price in exchange for Allah 's covenant; surely what is with Allah is better for you, did you but know.
और ख़ुदा के एहदो पैमान के बदले थोड़ी क़ीमत (दुनयावी नफा) न लो अगर तुम जानते (बूझते) हो तो (समझ लो कि) जो कुछ ख़ुदा के पास है वह उससे कहीं बेहतर है
And do not take a small price in exchange for Allah 's covenant; surely what is with Allah is better for you, did you but know.
और तुच्छ मूल्य के लिए अल्लाह की प्रतिज्ञा का सौदा न करो। अल्लाह के पास जो कुछ है वह तुम्हारे लिए अधिक अच्छा है, यदि तुम जानो;
And do not wrongfully kill any living being which Allah has forbidden; and for whoever is slain wrongfully, We have given the authority to his heir, so he should not cross limits in slaying; he will surely be helped.
और जिस जान का मारना ख़ुदा ने हराम कर दिया है उसके क़त्ल न करना मगर जायज़ तौर पर और जो शख़्श नाहक़ मारा जाए तो हमने उसके वारिस को (क़ातिल पर क़सास का क़ाबू दिया है तो उसे चाहिए कि क़त्ल (ख़ून का बदला लेने) में ज्यादती न करे बेशक वह मदद दिया जाएगा

किसी जीव की हत्या न करो, जिसे (मारना) अल्लाह ने हराम ठहराया है। यह और बात है कि हक़ (न्याय) का तक़ाज़ा यही हो। और जिसकी अन्यायपूर्वक हत्या की गई हो, उसके उत्तराधिकारी को हमने अधिकार दिया है (कि वह हत्यारे से बदला ले सकता है), किन्तु वह हत्या के विषय में सीमा का उल्लंघन न करे। निश्चय ही उसकी सहायता की जाएगी

And establish prayer and give the poor - rate. and whatsoever of good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find with Allah ; verily Allah is the Beholder of that which ye work.
और नमाज़ कायम करो और ज़कात दो और तुम स्वयं अपने लिए जो भलाई भी पेश करोगे, उसे अल्लाह के यहाँ मौजूद पाओगे। निस्संदेह जो कुछ तुम करते हो, अल्लाह उसे देख रहा है
And establish prayer and give zakah, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves - you will find it with Allah . Indeed, Allah of what you do, is Seeing.
और नमाज़ कायम करो और ज़कात दो और तुम स्वयं अपने लिए जो भलाई भी पेश करोगे, उसे अल्लाह के यहाँ मौजूद पाओगे। निस्संदेह जो कुछ तुम करते हो, अल्लाह उसे देख रहा है
And even if We had sent down to them the angels and the dead had spoken to them and We had brought together all things before them, they would not believe unless Allah pleases, but most of them are ignorant.
और (ऐ रसूल सच तो ये है कि) हम अगर उनके पास फरिश्ते भी नाज़िल करते और उनसे मुर्दे भी बातें करने लगते और तमाम (मख़फ़ी (छुपी)) चीज़ें (जैसे जन्नत व नार वग़ैरह) अगर वह गिरोह उनके सामने ला खड़े करते तो भी ये ईमान लाने वाले न थे मगर जब अल्लाह चाहे लेकिन उनमें के अक्सर नहीं जानते

यदि हम उनकी ओर फ़रिश्ते भी उतार देते और मुर्दें भी उनसे बातें करने लगते और प्रत्येक चीज़ उनके सामने लाकर इकट्ठा कर देते, तो भी वे ईमान न लाते, बल्कि अल्लाह ही का चाहा क्रियान्वित है। परन्तु उनमें से अधिकतर लोग अज्ञानता से काम लेते है
And fear a trial which will not strike those who have wronged among you exclusively, and know that Allah is severe in penalty.
और उस फितने से डरते रहो जो ख़ास उन्हीं लोगों पर नही पड़ेगा जिन्होने तुम में से ज़ुल्म किया (बल्कि तुम सबके सब उसमें पड़ जाओगे) और यक़ीन मानों कि ख़ुदा बड़ा सख्त अज़ाब करने वाला है
